What on earth is ketan bakar.
ketan bakar is trademark little snack from Lembang, Bandung. It is simply roasted sticky rice. This tasty little dish consists of a block of sticky rice that is barbequed and served with peanut sauce and serundeng (a mixture of peanuts and coconut).
You might be wondering why I chose a snack for my web site name. That is a very good question as I also don't exactly know :). But I do have few reasons
- ketan bakar is one of my favourite snack since I was a kid
- ketan bakar origin is from Bandung and so am I (if you don't know where, go and search it in the map)
- I'll post more when I find more reasons :)
